Timer AI ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Information We Collect
- Account data: When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email address.
- Workout data: Timers you create, workout sessions you complete, and notes you add.
- Voice recordings:If you use voice input or voice notes, audio is processed by OpenAI's API and immediately discarded — we do not store raw audio.
- Photos of written lists: If you photograph a written list, it is read on your deviceand only the recognised text is sent to us. If the handwriting is hard to read you may separately choose "Read with AI"; only then is that one photo sent to our server and on to OpenAI's API to be transcribed. We hold it in memory for the length of that request and never store it. This never happens automatically — you are asked each time.
- Usage data: Basic analytics to improve the app (no advertising identifiers).
How We Use Your Data
- To provide and sync your workout timers across sessions
- To generate AI-powered interval timers from your input
- To deliver text-to-speech coaching during workouts
- To display your workout history and progress
Third-Party Services
- OpenAI: Used for timer parsing, text-to-speech, and — only when you explicitly ask for it — reading a photographed list. OpenAI may retain API data for a limited period for abuse monitoring under their own policy. See OpenAI Privacy Policy.
- Apple Sign In / Google Sign In: Authentication only. We do not share your credentials.
- RevenueCat: Manages in-app purchases. See RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
Data Retention
Your data is stored as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting support@timerai.online.
Children's Privacy
Timer AI is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
